Meet the Lawyers and Team
William T. Clarke
With a name like William Thomas Clarke III, it would seem that he was destined to be a lawyer, or at least aristocracy – we would guess he will settle for being a lawyer. William (“Bill”) Clarke attended the University of Alberta for his formal legal education, taking special interest in Family Law. During this time he was employed at one of the Okanagan’s largest law firms as a summer student, and then the Kelowna Courthouse Registry as a clerk in both the Supreme and Provincial Courts. He articled with the firm that shortly thereafter was renamed “Johnson & Clarke”. Since 2006, he has worked with the law firm of Hattori, Shaw & Clarke, which has now become The Courtyard Law Offices.
B.A. (Hons.), LL.B.

Your pleasurable experience begins as soon as you walk through the door and meet our Receptionist and Office Co-ordinator, Renee. Always friendly and delightful, she has more than earned her reputation as the perfect “frontline” worker! Being “chief cook and bottle-washer”, Renee is in charge of procedure, case-file management, client-reception, and yes, answering the telephones. As a reflection of the attitude that we have cultivated in our law firm, we know that you will enjoy any contact you have with Renee.
